I am the Master Electrician at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Prior to this position I was a Visiting Assistant Professor- Technical Director/Master Electrician and Interim Lighting/Sound Designer at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I have taught a range of classes/skills that include: Design Fundamentals, Stagecraft, Technical Production, Technical Direction, Computer Aided Design/Digital Media, Drafting, Lighting Design/Technology, Sound Design/Technology, Experiencing Theatre, and Introduction to Theatre.

 

For the last several years I have worked professionally around the country as a Lighting Designer, Assistant Lighting Designer, Master Electrician, Moving Light Programmer, Sound Designer, Technical Director, Carpenter, and Welder. I have a Master's of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre Lighting Design and Technical Direction from Utah State University 2013. I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Lighting and Sound Design from the University of Memphis 2006.
